InterviewAI ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use our platform, whether as an organisation (Customer) or as a job candidate.

2. Data We Collect

Account holders (Customers): Name, email address, organisation name, billing information, and usage data.

Candidates: First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), LinkedIn URL (optional), work experience, interview audio, AI-generated transcripts, and assessment scores.

Automatically collected: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs for security and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to: provide and improve the Service, process billing and credit transactions, generate AI interview assessments, send transactional notifications (e.g. interview completion alerts), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service, including: cloud infrastructure (database and file storage), AI voice and language services (ElevenLabs, Anthropic), payment processing (Paddle), and email delivery (SendGrid). All processors are contractually bound to handle data securely and only as instructed.

5. Candidate Data and Customer Responsibility

Customers are the data controllers for candidate personal data submitted through the platform. Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from candidates and for their own compliance with applicable employment and data protection laws. InterviewAI processes candidate data solely on behalf of and under instruction from the Customer.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of the account relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by law. Interview data (transcripts, assessments, recordings) is retained as configured by the Customer. Candidates may request deletion of their data by contacting the Customer or us directly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tauga.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to prompt disclosure of any breach affecting your data.

9. Cookies

We use session cookies solely to maintain authenticated sessions. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are placed on your device.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance.
